What’s been a memorable Sixteen gig & why?
The Mufti Messiah Madrid when Iberia lost all our cases.

What’s your favourite Sixteen recording?
The Poulenc disc with Figure humaine.

What are your hobbies and interests?

Cricket, especially when my sons are playing, going on long walks especially up mountains, preferably in snow.
Exploring National Trust and English Heritage properties.

If you could perform in any venue, what / where would it be?
Birmingham Symphony Hall

What do you think you would be doing if you weren’t a singer?
Probably an Outward Bound Instructor or a cricketer.

What would your ultimate desert island disc be?
Mozart arias sung by Lynda Russell.

What football team do you support?
Gillingham - I was born there!
